It seems there's barely a week goes by where we don't hear something new and thrilling from New York's most bustling pop star, Tei Shi. She's still making the most of her stunning Verde EP, with the adventurous visuals for 'See Me' arriving recently, and now this sweet rework of 'Go Slow' featuring Atlanta rapper Rome Fortune. Rome is proving something of a hit in indie underground circles, having cropped up most recently on these pages while guesting on the pulsating new Cash + David track, 'Pains 4 U', to which he added assertive verses over their shimmering synth patterns. It's a similar story here, with a robust volley of syllables rolling over Tei's s charming coos. We can imagine spending even more time with this than the original. - DC
